P E O P L E S 25 P E O P L E S The FCC team made up of Alfonso José Pérez of FCC Medio Ambien- te; Javier Ferrero and Sergio Man- so of Aqualia; José María Molina of FCC Construcción; and Antonio A. Martínez and Víctor M. Villalba of FCC Corporate Services took part in the spectacular Powerade Non Stop Mountain Bike test. Félix Man- so, Sergio’s father, was also present, providing them with all the technical assistance necessary to make this adventure possible. On Friday 21 September, our co- lleagues left the municipality of Las Rozas in Madrid, ready to cover 770 kilometres, on paths and tracks, by teams and without compulsory stops, day and night, in a maximum time of 55 hours. On Sunday 23 they achieved a great victory, arriving in Lisbon in 48 hours and 37 minutes. At 12:37 on that day, the companions of the FCC Group were crossing the finish line of the Park of Nations in the Portuguese ca- pital; it was not a question of winning, but of arriving, and they achieved it. This year, the event set an absolute record for participation. Until 6 p.m. on Sunday, the finish line in the ca- pital of Lisbon was open to the 834 participants registered for the sixth edition of this mountain biking ex- perience.
