R E S P O N S A B I L I T Y 31 R E S P O N S A B I L I T Y The new trucks take to the road in Allerdale , United Kingdom Environmental-friendly trucks = Efficiency and responsibility Residents expect to receive a better waste collection and recycling servi- ce thanks to the nearly 40,000 blue-li- dded bins for paper, with twice the capacity of the former bins to be deli- vered to each household in Allerdale. This new service will improve even further its recycling rates. The Allerdale Municipal Council and its recycling and waste partner FCC Environment introduced the residents to the two new vehicles added to the fleet. All residents will also receive detailed information on the novelties of this services. The service includes the provision of 17 new Dennis Eagle Collection vehicles, all but one of which will be 26t vehicles. Each vehicle has a Euro 6 compliant 6 cylinder, 7.7l engine which will deliver significant reduc- tions in emissions compared to the current service, delivering cleaner, greener services in the Borough from the outset.
