FCC participates in a conference on safety and security , in United Kingdom The FCC Group’s Corporate Se- curity Department took part in an event organised by Critical Arc in the United Kingdom. Critical Arc is the company that provides FCC with the SafeZone platform, a worldwide mobile appli- cation designed to support emplo- yees during their travels and stays abroad with which expatriates or frequent travellers can share their location whenever they wish with the Security Department, send alert messages and communicate with security personnel, receive instruc- tions from the nearest FCC control centre, and so on. During the working sessions, José María Morales, director of securi- ty at FCC, gave a presentation on security and protection strategies and initiatives at companies and universities. José María also led a workshop on the protection of inter- national travellers, which analysed, among other issues, the most sui- table tools and platforms for contri- buting to the safety of staff abroad. The FCC Group is committed to the support and safety of expa- triate employees or frequent trave- llers during their travels and stay abroad. These conferences serve to exchange experiences and learn about the best practices of other companies and institutions that, like FCC, have a broad internatio- nal presence and operate in scena- rios with different levels of risk and uncertainty.
