A total of 75 companies and 96 brands from 16 countries have presented their most innovative proposals, solutions and services at SIGA, the business platform for the complete water cycle, in the 5,000 m2 fitted out in Pavilion 2 of the Feria de Madrid. This project, developed in Chi- clana (Cadiz) since 2011, currently has the largest facilities in the world for the cultivation of microalgae for the production of vehicle biogas. Rogalla explained how “this project is, in reality, a total change of the pu- rification paradigm, because instead of investing energy to purify was- tewater, we now obtain a valuable energy resource that is also sustai- nable”. The project currently supplies seven cars in the municipal park and the Chiclana water service. With its presence and support to SIGA, Aqualia bet on this Fair as a great international event to connect the protagonists of the sector in Spain, Latin America and the Medi- terranean Arc.
