In this extension work, the finest technology available has been included to assure maximum protection of the land, including geophysical verification of the final geosynthetics facility. Also, in accordance with the circular economy guidelines, the construction has taken into account the optimisation of material resources by using recycled slag instead of natural aggregate for the granular wearing courses.

With this extension, Ecoactiva de Medio Ambiente has increased the capacity of its facilities to properly handle any waste that cannot be valued, which previously, depending on its characteristics, has undergone various treatments at the facility make it less hazardous.
