Following the specific treatments, WEEE is subjected to manual and mechanical fragmentation or crushing processes in order to separate out the different fractions of materials that it contains. During this process, we make sure that any potential pollutants that might be present in the different fractions are eliminated. Most of these materials are plastics or metals of various types, which once separated are forwarded to firms specialising in their recovery, where they are finally reintroduced into production cycles.
