Solar panel recycling

At the Cadrete plant (Zaragoza, Spain), we have also been treating and recovering waste from solar panels from all over Spain since 2024. The facility aims to offer the photovoltaic sector a solution for recycling its panels, both those that have reached the end of their life and those that, for various reasons, become waste during the installation or operation of the parks.

FCC Ámbito offers recycling services for single-sided silicon photovoltaic panels to park developers and EPC contractors, as well as to SCRAPs or waste managers who have solar panels that need to be recycled and recovered in accordance with Royal Decree 110/2015 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), achieving recovery rates of over 95%.
